RAD ‘MANS’ HEWER WITH BRIGHT NICKEL FINISH.
These large and heavy hewers were worn by all ranks in the RAD until the Officers version was introduced in 1938. This particular dagger, in my opinion was made probably in the later 1930's or early 1940's, as it is steel based with a great bright nickel finish to all the metal parts.
