LUFTWAFFE 1st PATTN DAGGER IN ALUMINIUM BY EICKHORN.

LUFTWAFFE 1st PATTN DAGGER IN ALUMINIUM BY EICKHORN.

A very nice example of the Luftwaffe 1st Pattn dagger in aluminium as worn by Senior NCO’s etc.
Whilst introduced in 1935 and then only worn by Officers, the introduction of the 2nd Pattn dagger in 1937 enabled just NCO’s to wear the 1st Pattn dagger, while Officers changed over to the 2nd Pattn. This is made by Eickhorn and has a mint nickel plated blade with the 1935-42 Eickhorn squir...  read more

LUFTWAFFE 2nd PATTN. DAGGER - COMPLETE RIG BY ERNST PACK.

LUFTWAFFE 2nd PATTN. DAGGER - COMPLETE RIG BY ERNST PACK.

A very good looking dagger and is complete with the original 23cm portapee and a set of de-luxe hangers. Quite a deep orange grip with aluminium wire wrap. No damage. A deep grey coloured scabbard with no damage. A decent set of hangers which have grey velvet backings. There is a slight period repair to the top strap where is rubbed against the uniform perhaps. Does not detract. A nice bright b...  read more

A LUFTWAFFE 1st Pattn DAGGER WITH CHAIN - PURCHASED FROM A THEATRE IN GERMANY.

A LUFTWAFFE 1st Pattn DAGGER WITH CHAIN - PURCHASED FROM A THEATRE IN GERMANY.

A most interesting item which displays well but obviously has been used for film or theatrical work over the years. All parts, except for the chains, seem to be original but have come from different sources or other daggers over the years. Scabbard is real but has leather missing from the upper edges. Grip is real. Pommel is real, as is the crossguard but it’s aliminium, whereas the other bits ...  read more

WW2 GERMAN FIGHTING KNIFE - INTERESTING PATTERN.

WW2 GERMAN FIGHTING KNIFE - INTERESTING PATTERN.

Another good example of a German commercially available fighting knife. Looks similar to the Luftwaffe fighting knife in many respects. Is pictured on page 77 of the German Combat knives book, but this one has a slightly different scabbard. Has a leather belt loop rather than the metal clip. In very good condition with a decent blade. Black painted scabbard with leather belt loop and cross str...  read more

WW1 CLASSIC GERMAN FIGHTING KNIFE.

WW1 CLASSIC GERMAN FIGHTING KNIFE.

One of many variations manufactured and used during WW1. This exact type example is pictured in the ‘GERMAN FIGHTING KNIVES 1914-1945’ book and I have included a picture of the book page as a reference. Typical hardwood grip with grooved grips (8). Black steel hilt and crossguard. Tubular steel scabbard with leather belt loop and across grip loop with popper, all in excellent condition and work...  read more

A LONG PATTERN ‘MEMORY OF MY SERVICE TIME’ DRESS BAYONET BY EICKHORN.

A LONG PATTERN ‘MEMORY OF MY SERVICE TIME’ DRESS BAYONET BY EICKHORN.

This is a very nice Eickhorn dress bayonet with the single etch ‘Memory of my Service Time’ etched blade. It is perhaps the most often found etch pattern with scroll down the middle and closed wing eagle and swastikas at each end. This bayonet is a little different to ones normally found as it has a set of stag grips which are attached to the hilt with removable nickel plated nuts and bolts. read more

ONE OF THE RAREST AND MOST DESIRABLE THIRD REICH FLAGS.

ONE OF THE RAREST AND MOST DESIRABLE THIRD REICH FLAGS.

This is one of the smallest sized REICHSKRIEGSFLAG’s made and flown. It measures Kr 50 x 80cm, which is about the size of a small display cabinet. Tiny!! Most are Kriegsmarine marked with the little eagle and M stamped on the linen rope hem. Often sold as a ‘U BOAT’ flag and I am sure they were used on them, but most pictures available show them being flown on E BOATS and smaller inshore craft ...  read more

AN EARLY ‘33 SS DAGGER BY ROBERT KLAAS.

AN EARLY ‘33 SS DAGGER BY ROBERT KLAAS.

Manufactured in the early 1930’s and at that time carried by every member of the SS, both officers and men (the officers chained dagger was introduced in 1936). This has all nickel fittings throughout, including both scabbard fittings. A very good example with a couple of minor faults. There is a small chip to the solid ebony grip at the top of the handle to the reverse edge. A small piece miss...  read more
