Good chequered grip plates with a small, very old repair to one bottom edge (hardly noticeable, done very well). Good undamaged scabbard with some original paint finish remaining. THE SMALL, ALL ALUMINIUM HJ/DJ HIKE KNIFE.
This little HJ/DJ knives are a little controversial but as I have owner many of them way back to 40 years ago, I certainly believe that they are original period pieces. Actually what they were used for or made forbid the subject of much debate. We just need a period photo or advert to surface showing one of these, and everyone will be satisfied! They are all the same, so we’re made by the same ... read more
SET OF DE-LUXE LUFTWAFFE DAGGER HANGERS.
These are an original used set with all the ‘de-luxe’ type fittings. Top clip is cast with oak leaves and has the DRGM lettering on the reverse. Buckles, slides and ‘push up’ lower clips are also cast with oak leaves. The blue/grey fabric straps have the twin silver lines and grey/blue velvet backings. In overall very good condition, with one minor wear patch on the lower strap where the unifor... read more
PERHAPS ONE OF THE BEST CONDITIONED ARMY DAGGERS I HAVE OWNED!
I’m not sure where this has been these past 80 odd years, but wherever it has been kept it has preserved it in a ‘time bubble’. Made by Alcoso with the the post 1937 trademark and the 3rd variation of crossguard they used. (Why?). Anyway, the dagger is absolutely gorgeous. Tangerine grip, original silver bullion 42cm knot. A great set of straps. The dagger and scabbard have all the the original... read more
A GOOD EXAMPLE OF A LATER SS ‘33 RZM DAGGER BY SMF.
Always a popular collectable, in fact anything SS that’s real in in good condition, is very popular. This is a 33 pattern SS mans dress dagger with the small and interesting RZM code 1198/38. This is for the SMF company with the last letters designating the year of manufacture. In this case it’s 1938.
As this is a later produced dagger all hilt fittings are the zinc alloy mix with nicke... read more
ARMY DAGGER COMPLETE WITH STRAPS AND KNOT.
A very good example of a later produced army dagger, complete with its original 42cm portapee and original set of straps. This, along with a matching 2nd Luftwaffe dagger, came from an existing customer on mine. I remember selling him both pieces some 15 years ago, and both daggers were a veterans family purchase as souvenirs.
This dagger has an off-white grip with grey alloy fittings t... read more
EARLY RLB OFFICERS 2nd Pattn DAGGER UNTOUCHED CONDITION.
For those of you that love ‘out of the woodwork’ pieces, here is quite a rare dagger that fits that description. I sold this dagger to a collector some 15 years ago, and luckily he has left it as it was then.
This RLB dagger has an all brass base to the crossguard and pommel. Unusual as so many are nickel plated grey alloy, with a few nickel plated ones. The original silver plating has ... read more

A 2nd. PATTN. BAHNSCHUTZ OFFICERS DAGGER NOT MADE BY EICKHORN! (For a change!))
I am delighted to offer this super Bahnschutz Officers second pattern dagger (not quite sure why we call is a 'second pattern' as in my opinion a 1st pattern didn't actually exist). As with most other Third Reich daggers, all were made by MANY manufacturers, and they were listed in their sales catalogues. Eickhorn seems to be the one most available, and we can all spot the casting flaw on the c... read more
A BEAUTIFUL SET OF MINT ARMY DAGGER HANGERS.
From my same source in Germany, these are an exceptional set of hanging straps for an army dagger. De-lux cast top fitting with oak leaves etc. Stone mint bullion straps with perfect mint green velvet backings. Oval oak leaf buckles still have all the original silver wash finish. Lower clips are the de-mix ‘push up’ types again with silver wash finish and marked DRGM on the reverse.
