EXTREMELY RARE SET OF ‘DOG LEAD’ LEATHER HANGERS FOR NAVY SWORD.

EXTREMELY RARE SET OF ‘DOG LEAD’ LEATHER HANGERS FOR NAVY SWORD.

A very hard set of hangers to find, far rarer than the cloth hangers for the navy dagger itself. These have a nickname of ‘dog lead’ hangers as the black braided leather hangers have a resemblance to commercial leads. Do to their nature and construction, they have a habit of drying out, becoming brittle and breaking. This is a very nice, pliable and supple set. The fittings are all brass which ...  read more

AN EARLY PRE-1939 NADAP BROWN UNIFORM SHIRT.

AN EARLY PRE-1939 NADAP BROWN UNIFORM SHIRT.

A complete but a little grubby NSDAP uniform shirt with the rank of Zellenleiter, or Cell Leader. This rank was higher than a Blockleiter but subordinate to the Ortsgruppenleiter. It has the correct earlier collar patches and both they and the collar are edged in cornflower blue trim for Ortsgruppe or local group level. It has an original cotton Party armband sewn the left sleeve. It has all th...  read more

FIRE OFFICERS TRIPLE ETCHED SWORD, PERSONALISED ETC BY W.K & C.

FIRE OFFICERS TRIPLE ETCHED SWORD, PERSONALISED ETC BY W.K & C.

Whilst the Fire Dept in Germany were technically not part of the military, they seems to be treated as such and from Imperial times, Officers and then firemen were issued with parade swords and sidearms. This is a beautiful triple etch sword, which I think started life in the late 20’s or early 30’s. I am sure it was certainly carried into the Third Reich era too. Beautifully made, it has a he...  read more

VERY RARE TEARDROP HANGER FOR LUFTWAFFE SWORD.

VERY RARE TEARDROP HANGER FOR LUFTWAFFE SWORD.

Any of the attachments for Luftwaffe swords are very rare and hard to find if you want to complete a sword. In most cases the integral crescent leather hanger, that’s attached to the scabbard rings is missing. Perished or broken over the years. To find the hanger that connected THIS to the belt, is even harder to acquire. This is a dark blue leather hanger with DRGM marked large snap clip. It a...  read more

ARMY DAGGER WITH STRAPS AND KNOT BY TIGER.

ARMY DAGGER WITH STRAPS AND KNOT BY TIGER.

Not a common maker to find and this is a complete dagger in very nice overall condition. All nickel plated fittings in very good order. Tiger used fittings shared by other manufacturers, which have become known as ‘Generic A’ type crossguard. Very good detail and no lifting to the plating. A cream coloured celluloid over wood grip with no damage. It has the original 42cm bullion portapee tied i...  read more

EARLY SA DAGGER WITH TRIPLE HANGER RARE 9/10 MAKER.

EARLY SA DAGGER WITH TRIPLE HANGER RARE 9/10 MAKER.

Here is a chance to acquire one of the rarer makers for early SA daggers. CARL MALSCH Steinbach Kr. Mein. Not even made in Solingen! This is rated as a 9/10 in the rarity scale and I certainly do not remember ever having one before. The exterior of the dagger is in near mint condition with uncleaned and undamaged solid nickel fittings. A superb wood grip. Perfect crossguards. Lower one with Mi ...  read more

A VERY EARLY AND RARE ‘FULL STAG’ RAD HEWER.

A VERY EARLY AND RARE ‘FULL STAG’ RAD HEWER.

These were the very first RAD hewers made, and only by Carl Eickhorn. Initially the grip consisted of two identical pieces of hand carved and fitted stag horn. They were shaped to look like the recognisable eagles head and beak at the top. This design proved to be too expensive and time consuming, so the hilt was changed significantly. The metal part was extended to become the ‘beak’ and the st...  read more

HITLER YOUTH KNIFE, PLAIN BLADE BY RZM M7/72.

HITLER YOUTH KNIFE, PLAIN BLADE BY RZM M7/72.

Another decent example of a HITLER YOUTH knife produced after 1938 so has a plain blade with no motto. However, it’s by another maker I have never heard of Kaldenbach Karl Robert (KKR), Solingen-Grafrath | RZM M7/72. The RZM code etch is deeply stamped into the reverse riccasso and partly obscured by the blade washer. Good nickel plated hilt with a little bit of surface corrosion to the surface...  read more

‘SPECIAL OFFER’ HITLER YOUTH KNIFE M7/3.

‘SPECIAL OFFER’ HITLER YOUTH KNIFE M7/3.

RE-LISTED DUE TO TOME WASTER……Part of a large collection I had the pleasure of buying recently. This is a post-1938 HJ dagger by RZM M7/3 (Kuno Ritter Solingen-Gräfrath). Interestingly the hilt is steel and nickel plated rather than the grey pot metal alloy they used for later daggers. Hilt has lost most of the plating and is just down to the steel base. Perfect chequered grips and perfect HJ d...  read more

“A VERY, VERY SPECIAL OFFER” FOR A FULL SA ROHM INSCRIPTION DAGGER BY EP&S.

“A VERY, VERY SPECIAL OFFER” FOR A FULL SA ROHM INSCRIPTION DAGGER BY EP&S.

This is from the same collection as the other Rohm I listed last week. Again a dagger that has been left alone and not cleaned ever, seems! Exterior nickel fittings have toned to a deep yellow colour with a mixture of age and nicotine probably. Scabbard is undamaged and has a full coating of the brown anodised finish, but no lacquer and a little patchy in places. The bottom ball is squashed as ...  read more
