SWORD COLLECTION - A SUPER EXAMPLE OF EARLY ‘BLUCHER’ EICKHORN SWORD.
Another great early example of one of the Eickhorn Field Marshal series. This is the ‘BLUCHER’ and named after Gebhard Leberecht von Blucher (December 16, 1742 -October 12, 1819) was a Prussian Generalfeldmarschall. This is a beautiful all brass example with virtually all the original fire gilt on the hilt! Large imposing lions head with red eyes. Perfect celluloid grip with triple brass wire. ... read more
SWORD COLLECTION - A BRASS LIONS HEAD SWORD BY F.W.HOLLER
Whilst FW Holler were a prolific dagger maker, swords by them don’t seem to surface too often. This is an all brass hilted type, designated by them in their catalogue as a type 160. The hilt is in amazing condition and has 95% of the original bright fire gilding. It has quite a large lions head with red glass eyes. A perfect celluloid grip with the Holler trademark ‘springy wire’ grip wrap. Bla... read more

SWORD COLLECTION - EARLY BRASS LIONS HEAD SWORD BY E.F. HORSTER
Another nice example from this sword collection and another different maker. This is an all brass hilted lions head parade sword by E.F. HORSTER. Again not a sword maker often encountered. Slightly different again from all the other makers, this has quite a large lions head with red eyes. Has nearly all of the fire gilt finish to the surfaces and a perfect celluloid grip. The triple brass wire ... read more

AN ORIGINAL BROWN LEATHER VERTICAL HANGER FOR EARLY SA DAGGER.
Whist most of these hangers are black and used and associated with SS ‘33 daggers. They were made and used on early SA daggers as well. It seems only earky ones exist, as I have never seen a later BROWN SA hanger produced or marked during the RZM period. This is in nice, but used condition. Has the traditional ‘coffin’ shape. A nice heavily patina’d Assmann marked snap clip. Construction is the... read more
AN EARLY ALL NICKEL, LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS SWORD.
Still one of my favourite swords and this is a very nice example of an early one. Solid nickel fittings to the hilt and scabbard fittings. Dark blue original leather with very little damage and no lifting etc. There is one small edge ‘nip’ in the leather. The original double grip wire is intact. The original crescent leather hanger is perfect. The blade is heavily nickel plated and in near mint... read more
A SA DAGGER TRIPLE HANGER FOR A RZM ERA PIECE.
An extremely nice triple dagger hanger which would suit any near mint or mint SA dagger produced during the RZM period. The nickel plated clip and buckle are in mint condition. Clip marked RZM M5/71 OLC. Buckle is also RZM marked but too small for me to read! The triple leather hanger is super. Some very slight wear to show it has been used. The long strap is ALSO RZM marked and dated 1941. read more
