RED CROSS ‘SAW-BACK’ DAGGER WITH ORIGINAL FROG.
One of the several daggers purchased from a private collection last week. All have not been offered to the collecting community for over 30 years. This is an extremely good example of a parade dagger carried by the German Red Cross.
I’ve always wondered why an organisation such as the Red Cross carried daggers at all, but during the 1930’s every organisation received the para-military t... read more
A VERY GOOD ‘USED’ HITLER YOUTH ARMBAND.
Of standard manufacture with the red cotton base with white strip as part of the material. A nice ‘bevo’ swastika machine sewn to the band. In very good used condition with some of the original cotton remaining where it was sewn to a sleeve. Ideal with a HJ dagger display or similar. read more

ONE OF THE BEST EARLY SA DAGGERS I HAVE OWNED IN A WHILE!
From a private collection in South London. This dagger has not been on the market for over 30 years. It’s a super piece, in virtually MINT condition and is complete with its original early 3 piece hanger (£250 on its own!). All solid nickel fittings throughout. A lovely deep brown hardwood grip with nickel eagle and perfect SA button. Lower crossguard is Gau marked Nm (Nordmark). The scabbard i... read more
A VIRTUALLY MINT HJ DAGGER WITH MOTTO!
Still one of my favourite daggers, even though so many were made. To find one in this condition these days is few and far between. This is a mid-period dagger, as it carries both the RZM code as well as the makers trademark, both deeply stamped into the reverse of the blade.
This hilt is virtually mint, with heavy nickel plating throughout and NO evidence of wear from the cross strap et... read more
ARMY DAGGER WITH RARE MAKER, STRAPS AND BULLION KNOT.
Whilst army daggers are one of the most common still available, due to the numbers issued, some have become more desirable due to the rariety of certain makers. Many manufacturers made them, but like SA daggers, there were quite a few smaller makers, with any of thdir products becoming highly desirable! This is one of those, with THIS army dagger being made by the HENKELS company.

ITALIAN MVSN 1936 OFFICERS DAGGER WITH CHAINS.
Perhaps one of the most elegant of the WW2 Axis dress daggers, and always popular with collectors.
Introduced in 1935/6 to replace the 1st Pattn dagger which had a single rear strap fixing. The chained officers version either had twin leather straps or the brass metal chain, as this does.
The dagger itself remained the same in the ‘upgrade’. A heavily Art Deco influenced eagle h... read more
“SPECIAL OFFERING” - EARLY RAD HEWER BY CARL EICKHORN.
If I do manage to buy items reasonably, then I do try to reflect that in the price I ask. This continues to be an expensive hobby, so I don’t want to scare off collectors, especially prospective ones!!!
This is a very early RAD hewer by Carl Eickhorn and carries the small oval 1933-35 Eickhorn trademark. This would have been produced just after the ‘full stag’ hilt was discontinued. As i... read more
A RARE EARLY ARMY DAGGER WITH SLANT GRIP . PERSONALISED WITH ORIGINAL KNOT AND HANGERS.
Like many Third Reich daggers, the initial production pieces differ from those that were made later in the period. Type of materials used changed, as well as some basic production designs, owing to cost and economies of scale.
Early army daggers were no different, and are highly collected as they are few and far between.
This is a lovely example by Carl Eickhorn and follows all ... read more
“SPECIAL OFFERING” - ARMY DAGGER COMPLETE WITH A SET OF STRAPS.
Purchased recently from relatives of the veteran. This has not been in a collection before.
A very good standard army officers dagger with an excellent plain, no maker blade. A very small anmoint of clouding to the surface in a few places, but a clean would help. Orange grip with no damage. All metal fittings have good plated finish. No damage to the scabbard. Original set of hangers w... read more

SS NCO’s PARADE DEGEN PERSONALISED WITH ORIGINAL KNOT.
A hard to find sword and this one is in very nice condition. As with a lot of SS officers and NCO’s degens, there is no maker mark on the blade. However, the original owner has paid to have his initials etched into the riccasso. Beautifully done in typical gothic styler letters, I think the letters are ‘F F’. Deep grey background. The blade is bright nickel plated, in mint condition and there i... read more
