A COMPLETE RIG! A SUPER NAVY DAGGER WITH HANGERS, KNOT AND UNDERBELT.

Never been in a collection before, this has stayed in the same family having been bought back as a souvenir by the vendors grandfather. This navy dagger was obviously just handed over in its entirety as the blue under-belt is also with it! The belt is named on the leather ‘H. ZAMERTIN?’ An early all brass dagger with has a mint etched blade with the early 1933-35 oval Eickhorn trademark.bThe dagger has not been cleaned or polished so retains a nice even patina throughout. Perfect celluloid grip which has the original bullion knot tied in the navy manner. Never been removed, it has set into place with no discernible wear either. Scabbard has one small carrying dent near the tip. So common! The dagger also has its original moire satin carrying straps with aluminium buckles and fittings. These are a matched pair. The shorter strap shows evidence of honest wear to the rear velvet, as this strap took most of the weight of the dagger when carried. A really nice combination. Never messed with and first time in a collection.
