UNTOUCHED AND COMPLETE ARMY DAGGER WITH STRAPS & KNOT BY RICH. A. HERDER!

A very nice army dagger complete ‘rig’. This set has always been together and recently walked in to a local antique shop as is. Even the knot is in the correct unique tie and just shows enough wear to see it’s always been exactly like this. The condition is really lovely throughout and it has the added bonus of being made by a pretty rare and unusual maker Richard A. Herder. Not commonly found.
A great mid-orange grip. Super plated fittings showing no damage or lifting. Scabbard in perfect shape with no dents or damage and still has most of the original ‘frosting’ final finish. Beautiful hanging straps in mint condition with silver plated fittings and perfect bullion and dark green velvet backings.
Blade is very nice and bright with the Herder crescent trademark on the reverse.
A really nice dagger and if you are collecting by maker and type, probably one you do not have.
