THIRD REICH POLICE OFFICERS SWORD BY CLEMEN & JUNG.

A very nice and quite long Police Officers parade sword or Degen. Complete with Rural police knot.
Very similar in design to the SS officers Degen but constructed in a different way. After all the Police were under the direct control of the SS administration. Nickel plated crossguard and hilt is perfect, as is the black wood grip, horizontal grip wire, back strap and deeply inset police badge. This is a copper colour as the original silver flash coating has worn off. Scabbard is in excellent condition with all original paint and both upper and lowe fittings. The blade is in very good condition.It is a barrier, polished steel type and not plated. Has original leather blade washer in place. The reverse riccasso has the CLEMEN & Jung name stamped, as well as their trademark which is a Z within a shield.
