A COMPLETE ARMY DAGGER BY EICKHORN WITH PERSONALISED CROSSGUARD.

A text book and classic army officers dress dagger by Eickhorn, complete with original hangers and 42cm knot. The original owner has had his initials professionally engraved to the rear of the crossguard, and they read ‘O.G’. Dagger has a beautiful orange celluloid grip, in perfect condition. All the nickel plated hardware, pommel, crossguard, scabbard etc. Is in perfect condition, with no damage or lifting, has just toned with patina over the years and has not been cleaned. The blade is in MINT condition and has the 1935-42 Eickhorn squirrel trademark etched into the reverse riccasso.
The dagger has the original 42cm bullion portapee/knot which does show some honest wear to the swing areas etc but is intact. The original hangers also show some honest wear, like the knot, so I convinced these have all been together since the war. A great combination with personalisation.
