A GREAT RECENT FIND! LUFTWAFFE MINIATURE DAGGER. SMF TYPE.

I’ve been in America for the past few weeks. No militaria fairs. Pure sightseeing. However, I always keep my eyes open and found this miniature in a crappy Pawn/Antique shop in Montana. No other militaria at all, just this!!! The guy in the store thought it was a ‘children’s toy’ for the German youngsters!! Anyway, this is one of the desirable SMF types. Bigger than the Horster examples, and slightly smaller than the wonderful Alcoso types. Aluminium crossguard and pommel. Nice lemon yellow grip. Perfect grey type scabbard with both hanger bands intact. Blade in excellent condition. This is an unmarked example as is sometimes found with SMF examples. It is very reasonably priced!!!
