THIRD REICH LIGHTWEIGHT, DOUBLE DECAL FIRE HELMET WITH NECK PROTECTION.

A near mint example of the lightweight aluminium helmet worn by the Third Reich Police fire service. Paint work is in near mint condition throughout. Helmet has both decals which are in mint condition. The Police badge on the left and the NS swastika shield on the right. The interior leather liner with leather pad go the crown, and chin strap are in perfect condition and the original black leather large neck shield is attached to the rear of the helmet with leather tabs. The helmet has holes in the crown for an aluminium ‘comb’ but this was not worn on all helmets, and there in no evidence of it ever being fitted (and therefore removed) on this one. A great looking helmet. Will display very well.
