THIRD REICH M42 ‘RAW EDGE’ LUFTWAFFE HELMET.

A very nice, standard issue Luftwaffe M42 steel helmet, complete with original chinstrap. Virtually all of the original dark blue paint with 99% original decal on the left hand side. There is slight decal loss to the swastika on one leg and this looks to have been caused by a camouflage band or similar, being worn on the outside of the helmet. You can see where it has rubbed most of the way around. Leather liner is in very good condition indeed and is complete with the ORIGINAL drawstring. Line stamped 58, shell stamped NS68. Chin strap stamped with a Wien (Vienna) maker and dated 1942. A really nice, original and UN-MESSED with helmet.
