AN EARLY SA DAGGER BY C.& R. LINDER WITH FREE EARLY HANGER!!!

A nice example of an early SA man’s dagger by the rarer maker C.& R. LINDER SOLINGEN WEYER. This is rated as a 8/10 on the rarity scale. Purchased by me locally, it’s a true souvenir and has never been in a collection. All solid nickel fittings that have remained uncleaned. It also looks to have never been apart either! Nice wood grip with no issues. Lower crossguard stamped with Ha Gau area.
Scabbard retains ALL of the brown anodising finish and over 70% of the lacquer. The bottom ball is intact but looks to have really caught in a door jamb and has squashed it a bit. It’s not been dropped, definitely caught in something. The blade is in excellent plus condition. It actually has all the crossgrain polish and deep grey colour to the motto letters. It’s nearly mint but has some tiny marks on the blade where the internal scabbard runners sit. I think these would disappear with a little careful effort as it’s not pitted, making the blade mint. The LINDER trademark is on the reverse riccosso.
A very nice and untouched dagger. I WILL GIVE THE PURCHASER AN EARLY, SHORT HANGER WITH NICKEL CLIP TO COMPLETE THE DAGGER!!
