MID-PERIOD HITLER YOUTH KNIFE WITH FULL MOTTO.

A purchase from the US. These daggers were very popular out there, but I did find a few at reasonable prices. This is a very nice example of a mid-period HJ boys dagger with full ‘Blut und Ehre’ motto etched to the blade. Nickel plated hilt shows little wear a very few spots of darkening. Perfect chequered grips and nice enamel HJ diamond. Scabbard has original black paint and the black leather belt loop and cross strap with popper are 100%. Blade is ver clean and tidy. Crossgrain evident and no damage. There is a riccasso which dates it to mid-period. The reverse riccasso has evidence of a very lightly etched RZM maker code etc, but it was etched so lightly it’s virtually unreadable. Dagger is 100% original in all aspects.
