MARINE MARKED REICHDIENSTFLAG - STATE SERVICE FLAG SMALLER SIZE.

This State Service flag meAsures 0.8 x 1.35cm and is made in high quality red cotton. It is typical of the flags made by this company KRESS in St.Tonis. I’ve had a lot of their flags over the years and all are high quality with great colours. The rope lanyard is sewn in place and the hem pocket is stamped with the size, the maker and the Third Reich little ink marine M with eagle and swastika. The flag has the usual reinforcing stitching around the edges and 6 lines of it at the flying edge to prevent fraying. There is a very small person patch repair to the red cotton body at the top edge near the eagle wing. It does not detract at all. Colours are bright and vibrant. There is no other damage, dirt or moth nips. A very good display size or drawer liner.
