AN EARLY EXAMPLE OF RLB MANS OR’S DRESS DAGGER BY HORSTER.

One of the few daggers with a huge Art Deco design influence. This is an early 2nd Pattn RLB dagger with all solid nickel fittings (crossguard and pommel). A perfect black ebony wood grip with nickel RLB grip badge as used by Horster. Badge is in perfect condition with no chips to the black enamel swastika. Nickel crossguard features the very Art Deco influenced eagle and swastika. The black painted steel scabbard has 99% original paint throughout. The original short leather hanger is permanently riveted to the triangular scabbard loop. In perfect condition andvwithba solid nickel snap clip.
The blade is in MINT condition with all original crossgrain polish. The reverse riccasso has the oval HORSTER trademark deeply etched into the surface. The original leather blade buffer/washer is in place. A very nice example.
