LAND CUSTOMS DAGGER BY HORSTER.

Not the most common of daggers as there were not a huge amount of Customs officials. They look similar in shape and size to army daggers but have some major design differences. This one is predominantly made of brushed aluminium, pommel, crossguard and scabbard fittings. Green Moroccan leather to the grip and scabbard. Triple aluminium fittings to the scabbard. Grip has nice aluminium ‘springy’ wire wrap. Crossguard features the outstretched Third Reich eagle with upswept wingtips (customs type) The pommel and grip ferrell ring feature pointed tipped leaves, not oak leaves.
Blade is very nice, not stone mint as there are a couple of light smudges. Horster trademark etched to reverse of the blade.
