A really nice dagger made by EF.HORSTER. It’s an early production piece as the pommel and crossguard are made of solid nickel. As is the lower scabbard fitting. Another nice complete piece. Again converted from an earlier Weimar police clamshell bayonet, showing all the tell-tale signs. This is the much harder to find, large portapee for the Third Reich Police parade sword. These are half as big again as the normal police portapee. The strap is much wider and the ball is much bigger also.

This later period dagger is actually dated, so we can identify it exactly. Dagger has a nice cream celluloid grip, plaster filled.
