SS NCO’s PARADE DEGEN PERSONALISED WITH ORIGINAL KNOT.
A hard to find sword and this one is in very nice condition. As with a lot of SS officers and NCO’s degens, there is no maker mark on the blade. AN AMAZING FIND - 1936 SS CHAINED DAGGER WRAPPED IN ORIGINAL NEWSPAPER FROM 1996!
This is just to prove there are still items like this out there even after 80+ years!! The dagger was bought into a friends shop several weeks ago, wrapped inside a copy of the Daily Mail dated September 16 1996. A really pretty looking officers sword as the hilt is bright, gilded aluminium. Clem &Jung were one of the few manufacturers who used the ‘new metal’ aluminium and put it to good use! AN EARLY SA DAGGER WITH RARER MAKER 9/10 SCARCITY.
A good example of one of the early SA dagger, and even better it has a maker that is rated 9/10 on the scarcity lists. This one is made by Carl Schmidt & Sohn AG Solingen.
