SILVER & GREEN BULLION PORTAPEE/KNOT FOR SENIOR FORESTRY CUTLASS.

As with most accessories, original accoutrements are very hard to find. This is the dress knot worn with the Senior Forestry D guard cutlass. The one with the cream celluloid grips. Hunting and Forestry sidearms and cutlasses are one of my favourite items from this era. Usually devoid of an eagle and swastika, but if they are there, small and inconspicuous. THIRD REICH NAVAL OFFICERS CAR PENNANT IN MINT CONDITION.

This is a really super blue cloth pennant. Double sided in dark blue thick cotton cloth. Chain stitched eagle and swastika to both sides and with yellow cloth tape edging. ‘HATE BELT’ MADE FROM KRIEGSMARINE OFFICERS DRESS BELT.

Quite a common souvenir from WW2. British and US soldiers used captured belts, of all sorts, and attached badges, insignia, medals to the belts themselves. I’ve seen many variations. Usually they are the more common leather combat belt and buckle with items attached through the leather etc.
