A RARE EARLY ARMY DAGGER WITH SLANT GRIP . PERSONALISED WITH ORIGINAL KNOT AND HANGERS.
Like many Third Reich daggers, the initial production pieces differ from those that were made later in the period. Type of materials used changed, as well as some basic production designs, owing to cost and economies of scale.
Early army daggers were no different, and are highly collected as they are few and far between.
This is a lovely example by Carl Eickhorn and follows all ... read more
SS NCO’s PARADE DEGEN PERSONALISED WITH ORIGINAL KNOT.
A hard to find sword and this one is in very nice condition. As with a lot of SS officers and NCO’s degens, there is no maker mark on the blade. However, the original owner has paid to have his initials etched into the riccasso. Beautifully done in typical gothic styler letters, I think the letters are ‘F F’. Deep grey background. The blade is bright nickel plated, in mint condition and there i... read more
A BEAUTIFUL SS OFFICERS BULLION SWORD KNOT!
No SS Degen is complete without this rare knot. They always follow the same design although some are a little longer than others. Again down to different manufacturers. Perfect flat bullion weave wide straps with the twin black lines along each edge. Braided silver bullion slide. The stem of the knot above the ball, is in fine bullion weave wire. Incorporated into it on both sides is the small ... read more
A FANTASTIC EXAMPLE OF THE LONGEST SS OFFICERS DEGEN I HAVE OWNED!
Members of the SS were chosen, amongst other things, for their physical attributes and prowess.
Therefore you never find a short SS officers sword.
However, THIS one is the longest I have ever owned or personally come across. Overall it measures 43” (that’s 3’6”!) with a 37 1/4” blade. Massive. The owner would have been about 6’6”” tall. The Degen is in near mint condition and i... read more
ULTRA RARE SMALLEST SIZED REICHSDIENST FLAG WITH MARINE MARKING.
Yes, this is one of the smallest Third Reich flags made that were actually flown. Measuring only 50cm x 85cm, it would have been used to fly on a small inshore boat or little Kriegsmarine craft. People always say these are ‘U-boat-flags’ and they could have been flown on them, but also on many other less famous craft! Made in the usual touch cotton sack cloth material, it has unfortunately suff... read more

A PRIME EXAMPLE OF AN EARLY ‘33 SS DAGGER WITH ITS ORIGINAL VERTICAL HANGER.
This is one of the super early SS daggers made in 1934, yet carries the RZM code 120/34. As yet, no manufacturer has been identified to this code. These are amazing daggers, all made with the early materials associated with ‘maker marked’ daggers of the same vintage. All metal fittings, crossguards, scabbard fittings etc are solid nickel. Lower crossguard stamped with Roman numersl ‘I’. Solid p... read more
AN AMAZING FIND - 1936 SS CHAINED DAGGER WRAPPED IN ORIGINAL NEWSPAPER FROM 1996!
This is just to prove there are still items like this out there even after 80+ years!! The dagger was bought into a friends shop several weeks ago, wrapped inside a copy of the Daily Mail dated September 16 1996. According to the family member who bought it in, the dagger was returned to England as a war souvenir. The veteran died in 1996 and the dagger was wrapped in the paper and put away unt... read more
A BEAUTIFUL LIONS HEAD SWORD IN GILDED ALUMINIUM BY CLEM & JUNG.
A really pretty looking officers sword as the hilt is bright, gilded aluminium. Clem &Jung were one of the few manufacturers who used the ‘new metal’ aluminium and put it to good use! Their gilding is VERY distinctive as it is so bright and strong. The lions head hilt is very nice indeed with very little signs of use and the gilding remains about 95% intact, with just a few high spots showing t... read more

A RARE SET OF ‘HORSE SHOE TOP ’ARMY DAGGER HANGERS.
There are a huge variety of dagger hangers for both the army and Luftwaffe daggers. Purely down to differing manufacturers and designs, but it makes it very interesting to find and collect them!
This is a very nice pair of the rare ‘horse-shoe’ top types. There have a solid portion to the top where the hangers are connected by rivets. DRGM marked on the reverse. The hangers are then hung... read more

A good example of one of the early SA dagger, and even better it has a maker that is rated 9/10 on the scarcity lists. This one is made by Carl Schmidt & Sohn AG Solingen.
