IMPERIAL GERMAN NAVAL OFFICERS PARADE SWORD.

IMPERIAL GERMAN NAVAL OFFICERS PARADE SWORD.

This is quite an impressive navy sword and is earlier and larger than most Imperial swords I have handled. It’s made by WKC but as it’s an early one, probably pre-1914, the maker is WK &c as they didn’t change their name and logo until the Third Reich period. A long sword with all brass fittings. The grip and hilt are quite large, as are the fold down clamshell type areas to the front and rear....  read more

RARE MAKER NAVY DAGGER COMPLETE WITH KNOT AND HANGERS.

RARE MAKER NAVY DAGGER COMPLETE WITH KNOT AND HANGERS.

An opportunity here to purchase a navy dagger by one of the much more uncommon makers CLEMEN & JUNG. The vast majority of Third Reich naval daggers were made by the Eickhorn company, closely followed by WKC. There were quite a few others including ALCOSO, but there were several smaller manufacturers whose products you just don’t come across very often. This is a very nice example by CLEMEN & JU...  read more

LUFTWAFFE 1st Pattn. DAGGER BY HERDER - NAMED.

LUFTWAFFE 1st Pattn. DAGGER BY HERDER - NAMED.

This is an interesting variation 1st Pattn dagger by Richard A Herder. The dagger itself seems to be in alloy or aluminium with earlier brass inserted swastika discs to the pommel and crossguard. I’ve had a few Herder 1st Lufts in my time and it seems they did a little mixing and matching. The blue leather grip is perfect with a single wire wrap. The original 23cm bullion knot is tied in place,...  read more

A RARE EXAMPLE OF A SS ‘OFFICER CANDIDATE’ SWORD/DAGEN - PERSONALISED.

A RARE EXAMPLE OF A SS ‘OFFICER CANDIDATE’ SWORD/DAGEN - PERSONALISED.

I must admit I have not had many of these in my collecting and dealing career. They are quite rare and unusual beasts! This is a nice LONG example and in near mint condition. There are some really good examples pictured in Tom Wittmann's excellent SS book. This is a text-book example. It looks exactly like an SS Officers Dagen, but without the SS runes button in the grip. Same black ebony grip ...  read more

UNTOUCHED AND COMPLETE ARMY DAGGER WITH STRAPS & KNOT BY RICH. A. HERDER!

UNTOUCHED AND COMPLETE ARMY DAGGER WITH STRAPS & KNOT BY RICH. A. HERDER!

A very nice army dagger complete ‘rig’. This set has always been together and recently walked in to a local antique shop as is. Even the knot is in the correct unique tie and just shows enough wear to see it’s always been exactly like this. The condition is really lovely throughout and it has the added bonus of being made by a pretty rare and unusual maker Richard A. Herder. Not commonly found....  read more

A COMPLETE RIG! A SUPER NAVY DAGGER WITH HANGERS, KNOT AND UNDERBELT.

Never been in a collection before, this has stayed in the same family having been bought back as a souvenir by the vendors grandfather. This navy dagger was obviously just handed over in its entirety as the blue under-belt is also with it! The belt is named on the leather ‘H. ZAMERTIN?’ An early all brass dagger with has a mint etched blade with the early 1933-35 oval Eickhorn trademark.bThe da...  read more

RAD ‘MANS’ HEWER WITH BRIGHT NICKEL FINISH.

RAD ‘MANS’ HEWER WITH BRIGHT NICKEL FINISH.

These large and heavy hewers were worn by all ranks in the RAD until the Officers version was introduced in 1938. This particular dagger, in my opinion was made probably in the later 1930's or early 1940's, as it is steel based with a great bright nickel finish to all the metal parts. Nice stag grip, with no issues. This bright plating technique is seen on a ew manufacturers, even on occasional...  read more

A RARE SAW-BACK FIRE BAYONET WITH EVEN RARER MAKER!

A very nice example of a long Fire ‘bayonet’ with saw-back blade. Complete with original frog and the correct fire portapee. Not really a bayonet at all, but we call them such. Actually a parade sidearm. This one would have been at extra cost for the saw-back blade. In super condition with no damage or lifting to the hilt and S-shaped crossguard.
