A PERSONALISED EARLY SS OFFICERS DEGEN.

A PERSONALISED EARLY SS OFFICERS DEGEN.

(On consignment) This is quite a sword, apart from being an extremely nice officers Degen in its own right, and quite long. The solid nickel pommel cap has been personalised with the original owners SS numbers along with his initials!
The number is 51240 and the initials are ‘H K’.
According to some very brief research, this Degen belonged to SS-Standartenführer der Waffen SS Han...  read more

AN EARLY SS MANS (OFFICERS) DAGGER BY BOKER.

AN EARLY SS MANS (OFFICERS) DAGGER BY BOKER.

Of course these early ‘33 daggers were carried by both SS officers and men until the 1936 chained variety was introduced. This is a very decent 1933 Pattn dagger by BOKER. All original early nickel fittings and with the ‘anodised’ scabbard finish. Nice ebony black wood grip with nickel eagle and enamel SS button. A few minor age cracks to the wood but no material missing. Lower crossguard is st...  read more

A VERY EARLY TRANSITIONAL 1st LUFT/DLV DAGGER.

A VERY EARLY TRANSITIONAL 1st LUFT/DLV DAGGER.

I’ve had quite a few of these very interesting ‘transitional’ Luftwaffe daggers over the years, but I think this is one of the earliest I’ve had, and in my opinion there are bits of this dagger that were on the 55cm DLV.
The original 55cm DLV was far too long to be practical, and whilst it looked great, was too cumbersome to carry. The 1st Luftwaffe was shorter and much easier to use. T...  read more

UNIQUE, NAMED RLB OFFICERS 2nd Pattn. DRESS DAGGER.

UNIQUE, NAMED RLB OFFICERS 2nd Pattn. DRESS DAGGER.

These are always quite an interesting dagger anyway. Their unique ‘art Deco’ crossguard design sets them apart from other dress daggers. However, this one is also personalised and to my knowledge I have never owned one or offered on before. A very nice dagger anyway with perfect lesther to both grip and scabbard. The RLB grip badge has lost the silver plated finish so down to the copper flash c...  read more
