SWORD COLLECTION - EARLY EICKHORN MODEL 1695 LIONS HEAD.
An early, all brass hilt and quite long example of the Eickhorn officers parade sword, designated in their catalogue as model 1695. Hilt has a besutiful cast lionshead with red glass eyes. Perfect celluloid grip with triple wire wrap. Under crossguard is stamped Ges.Geschutz. Scabbard has all original black paint with just some loss around the suspension ring area. Otherwise 90% intact. Heavily plated nickel blade is in mint condition. Blade is stamped with the early oval Eickhorn trademark, used around 1933-35. A very nice example of this early sword
