AN EARLY SS ‘33 DAGGER BY HAMMESFAR WITH HANGER.
Perhaps one of the daggers I am asked about the most. Early SS daggers (or SS chained!). HITLER YOUTH DAGGER WITH MOTTO M7/45/38.
Whist HJ daggers ceased to have the Blut und Ehre motto on the blade during 1938. It was only from 1939 onwards that there are only plain blades. During the early part of 1938 mottos still appeared on blades. This is one with RZM M7/45/38 markings deeply stamped into the reverse riccasso. K98 WITH MATCHING NUMBERS BY CARL EICKHORN.
A very nice example of a K98 combat bayonet complete with its original frog. The frog has unclear maker mark to the rear but the date is readable 1935. Bayonet has blued steel finish throughout. NAVAL OFFICERS DAGGER WITH KNOT BY EICKHORN.
A very nice example that shows proper use and wear, but remains in very collectable condition. All brass construction with quite a bit of original fire gilding remaining throughout. RED CROSS MANS SAW-BACK HEWER WITH FROG.
A nice example of the Red Cross dagger carried by Third Reich uniformed medics. Has all the original full nickel plating throughout. Very good ORIGINSL scabbard paint. ANYONE WITH A SPARE SCABBARD? A 1st Pattn LUFTWAFFE IN ALUMINIUM.
Picked up at the SoS show last month. This is a very decent 1st Luftwaffe dagger with no corresponding scabbard. Aluminium crossguard and pommel with mint gilded swastikas. Blue leather grip is a little scuffed but wire wrap etc is all present. Blade is bright and clean but has no maker.
Either find a scabbard or perhaps use this one for parts. Complete it would be a £700-800 dagger.

THIRD REICH FIRE DEPT BAYONET KNOT.
Whilst this is a fairly common sidearm, the coloured portapee/knot that goes with it is quite rare.
