AN UNUSUAL EARLY OFFICERS PARADE SWORD BY ROBERT KLAAS.

AN UNUSUAL EARLY OFFICERS PARADE SWORD BY ROBERT KLAAS.

An all brass dove head hilt profusely decorated with acorns and oak leaves along the knuckle bow and the back strap. Black celluloid grip. The triple grip wire has come loose in a few places and some strands are missing, but the central main strand is present over the complete grip. The reverse of the grip has an interesting Klaas feature insomuch as the grip wire slants downwards, not horizont...  read more

A STUNNING 99% MINT EARLY RZM PERIOD SA DAGGER.

A STUNNING 99% MINT EARLY RZM PERIOD SA DAGGER.

I’ve had a few of these before but to find an early/mid period SA dagger with RZM blade in this condition, is virtually impossible. Beautiful upper and lower crossguards which are solid nickel, rather than sink plated. Lovely wood grip with nickel eagle and perfect SA button. It looks like the scabbard fittings are nickel too as I can’t see any lifting or signs of corrosion. Beautiful RZM perio...  read more

Very nice scabbard with all original factory black paint. Reverse has all attachment springs present. Blade is undamaged. A little grey in places due to age but no pitting, damage or sharpening. Riccasso is stamped with the tiny issue ma...  read more

A VERY EARLY ALL BRASS ‘WRANGLE’ OFFICERS SWORD.

A VERY EARLY ALL BRASS ‘WRANGLE’ OFFICERS SWORD.

Another one from the sword collection. This early example of a ‘WRANGLE’ sword is part of the Field Marchal series of swords made by Carl Eickhorn. This particular example is not marked ‘Eickhorn’ but still has the ‘Ges Gesch’ stamp under the crossguard which proves it’s an Eickhorn. It’s also an early piece as the triple grip wire is all brass rather than aluminium which they used later. In ve...  read more

A NICE EARLY ALL BRASS WEHRMACHT OFFICERS SWORD BY ALCOSO.

A NICE EARLY ALL BRASS WEHRMACHT OFFICERS SWORD BY ALCOSO.

Another sword from this large collection. A very good example of an officers all brass hilted ‘dove head’ parade sword by ALCOSO. The market for parade swords and daggers during the 1939’s was huge and very competitive. All officers were required to own a dagger AND a sword for parade purposes. Each manufacturer had their own specific designs for each, so eventually there were literally 100’s o...  read more

EARLY ALL BRASS WHERMACHT OFFICERS SWORD BY RARE MAKER.

EARLY ALL BRASS WHERMACHT OFFICERS SWORD BY RARE MAKER.

This is the first sword in the listing of a large German WW2 sword collection recently acquired. More to follow. There are 15-20 swords, mainly army, but naval and several Luftwaffe officers dress swords.
This example is quite unusual and I can’t remember seeing this particular pattern before. It is also not listed in the Swords of the Third Reich book.
A very nice all brass ‘do...  read more

SS OFFICERS 1936 CHAINED DAGGER MID-PERIOD IN NEAR PERFECT CONDITION.

SS OFFICERS 1936 CHAINED DAGGER MID-PERIOD IN NEAR PERFECT CONDITION.

I was very pleased to buy this super dagger from a local contact, who thought of me first!! This is the dagger that all dagger collectors aim for and treasure as the highlight of their collections. This is a mid-period piece produced when the RZM took more control of the procedures. The crossguard are are nickel plated over the base metal alloy, but have remained uncleaned and are in near perfe...  read more

THIRD REICH POLICE NCO’s PARADE SWORD BY EMIL VOOS.

THIRD REICH POLICE NCO’s PARADE SWORD BY EMIL VOOS.

Not a common maker for Police swords. This is the NCO’s model which is a little less ‘fancy’ than the Officers type. Plain nickel plated D guard with smooth pommel cap. Some plate lifting to the inside of the guard. Black ebony wood grip with horizontal grooves, but no grip wire like the Officers one. Smaller police eagle inset into the middle of the grip. Scabbard has some original black pain...  read more
