A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A COMPLETE ‘SOCIAL WELFARE’ OFFICERS DRESS DAGGER WITH ORIGINAL STRAPS AND 42cm PORTAPEE.

A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A COMPLETE ‘SOCIAL WELFARE’ OFFICERS DRESS DAGGER WITH ORIGINAL STRAPS AND 42cm PORTAPEE.

One of the more unusual daggers of the Third Reich era. Social Welfare? Not a military organisation at all yet they had specific uniforms and daggers for both enlisted men and officers! Unlike nearly all the other daggers and swords, These daggers never have any makers marks on the blades, yet they appear in various manufacturers catalogues (Eickhorn, Robert Klaas). This officers example is in ...  read more

AN ORIGINAL SS VERTICAL DAGGER HANGER FROM THE RZM PERIOD.

AN ORIGINAL SS VERTICAL DAGGER HANGER FROM THE RZM PERIOD.

Purchased from the same source as the earky vertical hanger just listed. This one is from slightly later when most things were controlled and marked with RZM Codes etc. A very nice black leather hanger it very good condition. A nice cross strap with steel square type buckle. The snap clip is a steel plated type and has lost most of the original plating. It’s marked with the Assmann A and DRGM.<...  read more

AN EARLY SA DAGGER WITH SHORT HANGER BY ‘ASSO’.

AN EARLY SA DAGGER WITH SHORT HANGER BY ‘ASSO’.

A very good example of an untouched and uncleaned earky SA mans dagger by ASSO with their distinctive Hobby Horse trademark. Asso was ArturcSchuttelhofer &Co.. Rated about 6/10 on the rariety scale, it’s still a fairly uncommon maker and not one I have had in a long while! Dagger has not been touched in many years, if ever, and has a nice yellow patina to all of the nickel fittings. The grip is...  read more

EARLY ALL BRASS THIRD REICH LIONS HEAD PARADE SWORD

EARLY ALL BRASS THIRD REICH LIONS HEAD PARADE SWORD

I do think swords are still underrated, but I can understand the difficulty in display and storage. However, I think they are great value for money and are NOT generally reproduced at all. This is a decent example of an early lions head parade sword by Alcoso. It’s pictured in the Angola sword book. Heavy cast brass hilt with red glass eyes in the lions head. Perfect black celluloid grip with o...  read more

A VERY RARE SPARE PART!! ORIGINAL TENO HEWER SCABBARD.

A VERY RARE SPARE PART!! ORIGINAL TENO HEWER SCABBARD.

I came across this in America, and whilst I have or have had spare scabbards for army and Lauftwaffw daggers, I’ve never seen a spare TENO hewer scabbard!! There MUST be a few people out there with just the hewer and no scabbard, who are search for its mate!! Here it is! A standard scabbard for the Eickhorn TENO hewer. It’s in excellent condition. Upper and lower scabbard fittings are perfect a...  read more

A FINE EXAMPLE OF A RED CROSS OFFICERS DAGGER WITH HANGERS AND KNOT.

A FINE EXAMPLE OF A RED CROSS OFFICERS DAGGER WITH HANGERS AND KNOT.

I have always liked these daggers and it’s always amused me that members of a Red Cross organisation carried dress daggers! This is a near perfect example with tangerine colour orange grip, nice nickel plating throughout hilt and scabbard. No damage. There are a very good set of Red Cross hangers, which feature thin red lines woven into the fabric, plain top clip and smooth oval buckles and low...  read more

A M42 ‘RAW EDGE’ WEHRMACHT COMBAT HELMET-UNTOUCHED.

This is the second helmet I purchased from the shop in Florida. Quite interesting helmet.
Has small shrapnel hole I the very top. Plus quite obviously remnants of a tan type camouflage where bits are still stuck to the surface here and there.
Nice, flexible liner, chinstrap. Owners initials in ink on the inside of the liner. Original psit with a little rust bleed here and there, b...  read more

A RARE K98 PATENT LEATHER PARADE FROG WITH D.R.P. MARKED BACK PLATE.

A RARE K98 PATENT LEATHER PARADE FROG WITH D.R.P. MARKED BACK PLATE.

For those who collect accessories etc this is quite a rare find. A patent leather parade frog with the reinforced black painted aluminium back plate. Patented by the manufacturer to reduce wear and strengthen the frog itself. All of these have DRP stamped into them. Some people attribute these to a Postal bayonet frog Deutche Reich Post, but I think it’s Deutche Reich Patent. Nice frog nonethe...  read more

A VERY EARLY ALCOSO LIONS HEAD PARADE SWORD.

A VERY EARLY ALCOSO LIONS HEAD PARADE SWORD.

I can’t find a reference in the sword book for this exact sword, but in my opinion it is an early example of No 119. Hilt consists of a large and prominent lions head with red glass eyes. It’s completely different from their model 119, an example I have already listed. Beautiful detail to the lions head and back strap. Crossguard has the same type of eagle as model Nr 119, but ever more detaile...  read more

A NEAR MINT RZM PERIOD SA DAGGER BY Artur.Schuttlehofer.

A NEAR MINT RZM PERIOD SA DAGGER BY Artur.Schuttlehofer.

Really nice to find a RZM period SA dagger in this condition. Due to the materials used at the time, most of these dagger show deterioration in the crossguards and scabbard paint. This one shows none of that and is in near mint condition throughout. Both plated crossguards show very little age and full bright nickel plating. The brown painted scabbard has a little age ‘spidering’ but nothing el...  read more
