A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF THE 1936 NSKK OFFICERS CHAINED DAGGER BY EICKHORN.

Actually one of my favourite daggers and it has become very hard to find a nice conditioned REAL one! It seems the one produced by EICKHORN during the RZM period is the most popular.
This is a text book piece, produced in 1941. It is not stone mint but exhibits proper use and commensurate wear. RZM nickel plated alloy crossguards whichbare in near perfect condition with no lifting. A very nice mid-coloured wood grip with an aluminium eagle and perfect SA button. Scabbard has some surface scratches to the original paint with some handling wear to the very top area and upper scabbard fitting. It just looks like the original owner wore this dagger a LOT and this is where it was held or rubbed. The NSKK double chain has most of the original nickel plating. The reverse shows honest proper wear, so much so that the 2 top links which have the maker RZM stamping and the NSKK Kopsfuhring are quite feint, but you can see them under magnification. All 100%. Centre scabbard fitting and lower fitting are nickel plated steel. Good looking scabbard. The blade is in virtually mint condition and looks lovely. Good clear Alles fur DEUTCHLAND motto with background colour. The reverse of the blade has the RZM circle and M7/66 1941.
