ITALIAN MVSN 1936 OFFICERS DAGGER WITH CHAINS.
Perhaps one of the most elegant of the WW2 Axis dress daggers, and always popular with collectors.
Introduced in 1935/6 to replace the 1st Pattn dagger which had a single rear strap fixing. The chained officers version either had twin leather straps or the brass metal chain, as this does.
The dagger itself remained the same in the ‘upgrade’. A heavily Art Deco influenced eagle h... read more

AN ALL WOOL NSDAP PARTY ARMBAND COMPLETE WITH RZM TAG.
A great example of a wool NSDAP armband as removed from a tunic or shirt. It’s in typical ‘souvenir’ condition. A little grubby and a couple of small moth holes but incredibly original! Of 3 piece construction. Red wool armband with applied satin circle and separate black moire fabric swastika. There are all the remaining cotton stitches where is was attached to a sleeve. The original paper RZM... read more
BLUE LEATHER HANGER FOR THE LUFTWAFFE SWORD.
Another very difficult accessory to find. This is the tear-drop shaped blue leather hanger and nickel clip that connects to the Luftwaffe sword crescent hanger. There is an integral belt loop at the top to slide on the dress belt etc. Much rarer than the sword itself! In excellent condition. Luftwaffe blue leather to the front. Large pebbled snap clip and D ring with blue belt loop to the top. ... read more

RARE LONGER KNOT FOR THIRD REICH NAVAL SWORD.
It is not common knowledge thst the portapee or knots made for the Third Reich naval daggers were also made in a longer size to be tied to the hilts of navy officers swords.
There is a very complicated pattern used on navy swords. Multiple intertwined ties around the hilt and grip. The normal 42cm knot is too short to do this, so they made a slightly longer one which is about 46cm long.... read more

WEHRMACHT MARKSMANSHIP LANYARD IN GOLD!
This is the highest grade awarded for marksmanship and it’s in the second pattern format with large shield and crossed swords. I’ve had many of the lower grades before, but never one in gilt/gold. The shield is in a muted dull gold finish but in addition the little ‘toggles’ that form part of the braid, are in dull gilt wire also! Backed in rayon and a green uniform cloth behind the shield.
A MINT EXAMPLE OF LUFTWAFFE 1st Pattn. IN ALUMINIUM.
A really beautiful example this. Early 1st Luftwaffe daggers were all nickel with silver plating, then as time/was progressed they were made of combinations of other materials, silver plated grey alloy for instance. However, several manufacturers used the ‘new metal’ aluminium and the results were spectacular. This is one of those and as aluminium does not really age, it looks as if it was mad... read more
A PAIR OF EARLY BRASS KRIEGSMARING DAGGER HANGERS - MATCHED SET.
The blue cloth hangers used on the third Reich era navy daggers are usually gilded aluminium. The later ones were Mazak metal gilded, but the early hangers and those used in the Wiemar period are solid brass. This is a nice set of angers with brass buckles, slides and clips. They have seen some use but are in good condition and idea to go with an early maker navy dagger. The blue moire cloth tw... read more
THIRD REICH FIGHTING KNIFE OR ‘Nahkampfmesser’.
These smaller proportioned fighting knives were meant to be worn either in a boot or clipped onto a belt or piece of equipment. The scabbard had a long, tough wide spring that would attach nearly anywhere. Nice slim wood grips, single edged pointed blade. A very useful tool. These have become harder and harder to find in good condition. The steel tubular scabbard has 95% of the original black p... read more
RZM PERIOD SA DAGGER WITH RARE MAKER M7/8.
The variety of makers of SA daggers is enormous. Over 200 early makers, most who then went onto make daggers in the RZM period, so vast. A great collecting opportunity. This is a dagger with the maker RZM M7/8 this is Edward Gembruch quite a rare and unusual maker. The dagger is in excellent condition overall. There is minimal lifting to the nickel plated alloy fittings, just a little on the up... read more
