RAD ‘MANS’ HEWER WITH BRIGHT NICKEL FINISH.
These large and heavy hewers were worn by all ranks in the RAD until the Officers version was introduced in 1938. This particular dagger, in my opinion was made probably in the later 1930's or early 1940's, as it is steel based with a great bright nickel finish to all the metal parts. A very nice example of a long Fire ‘bayonet’ with saw-back blade. Complete with original frog and the correct fire portapee. Not really a bayonet at all, but we call them such. WW2 THIRD REICH NAVAL OFFICERS DAGGER BY WKC.
RE-LISTED DUE TO A COMPLETE AND UTTER TIME WASTER! A good, standard example of the dress dagger carried by naval officers and senior non commissioned ranks. A GOOD EXAMPLE OF A NSKK CHAINED DAGGER BY EICKHORN.
As I mentioned the last time I had one of these, they have become quite rare! Introduced at the same time as the 1936 SS chained dagger. This again was introduced and designed for the NSKK officers. The NCO’s and other ranks continued to wear the standard ‘33 pattern. A PERSONALISED EARLY SS OFFICERS DEGEN.
(On consignment) This is quite a sword, apart from being an extremely nice officers Degen in its own right, and quite long. The solid nickel pommel cap has been personalised with the original owners SS numbers along with his initials!
The number is 51240 and the initials are ‘H K’.

Of course these early ‘33 daggers were carried by both SS officers and men until the 1936 chained variety was introduced. This is a very decent 1933 Pattn dagger by BOKER. A beautiful example of this gilded aluminium dove head sword by a more unusual maker. The fire gilt hilt is 99% perfect with celluloid grip and triple wire wrap.
