RAD HEWER BY SCARCER MAKER- CARL JULIUS KREBS.
Always a very impressive edged weapon. Designed for the RAD to look ‘useful’ as they were the fix it labour force! I’ve never seen pictures of them being used for ‘work’, but I’ve seen plenty used as a hammer or similar. Carried by ALL ranks of the RAD until 1937, when a much more ‘dainty’ dagger was designed and issued to officers. This is a slightly later piece in my opinion as the fittings a... read more

A VERU UNIQUE TRANSITIONAL SA DAGGER BY EICKHORN
QUITE A UNIQUE ‘TRANSITIONAL’ SA DAGGER BY EICKHORN WITH TRIPLE HANGER. As far as I can remember, in all of the 100’s of SA daggers I have owned and handled, I’ve not had such an early ‘transitional’ Eickhorn SA dagger. Obviously at some point in the years of production, they ‘transitioned’ from the early daggers, with their solid nickel fittings etc, to being controlled by the RZM process. The... read more
A MINT EXAMPLE OF ITALIAN 1937 MVSN OFFICERS DAGGER.
A pure piece of Art Deco influenced design. These are quite beautiful daggers and totally different from their German dagger counterparts. Cast aluminium hilt with eagle head pommel. Bakelite grips with the Facist wheatsheaf and axe symbol inset. Perfect factory finish black paint to the scabbard. A super set of gilded brass chains with M (Mussolini ) belt clip. Stone mint chrome plated blade. ... read more

AN EARLY PERSONALISED/NAMED ALL NICKEL LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS SWORD.
A firm favourite of mine with a design like no other!!
Based on Medieval period sword hilt designs. The downswept winged crossguard looks amazing. This was also copied by the design of the 1st Pattn Luftwaffe dagger, and having two together make a great display. This has brass insedvswastikas in the pommel and crossguard. The large pommel swastikas have lost some of the silver background... read more

ITALIAN MVSN OFFICERS DRESS DAGGER WITH REMNANT STRAPS.
This is the very popular Italian dress dagger worn by officers from 1937. Wonderful Art Deco design with the hilt cast in aluminium with a stylised eagle pommel. Black Bakelite grips with brass inset Facist sheaf insignia. A stone mint bright chrome plated blade with single edge. Original black painted scabbard with twin hanger rings. These were worn with two sets of hangers. An ornate gilded b... read more

THIRD REICH FIGHTING KNIFE.(PUMA?)
One of the many know designs of fighting knives used by all ground troops during WW2. Wehrmacht, SS etc. A used example so the blade has been sharpened etc but not shortened. A nice smooth rounded wood grip with 3 flat rivets. This is probably a Puma made knife as it is virtually identical to examples with the red bakelite grips. Small oval crossguard. Original black painted scabbard with sing... read more

THIRD REICH POLICE BAYONET BY ALCOSO WITH FROG AND KNOT.
A really nice example of a long police bayonet with black scabbard and frog (City/town police). Early heavy nickel construction with stag grips. This one has a working mortice button and slot, so could fit on a K98 rifle. This is a typical Weimar Police re-issue, so has had the clamshell removed, blade, scabbard and grips shortened and Third Rich alloy police badge affixed to the grip by the ar... read more

“SPECIAL OFFERING” - EARLY DLV FLYERS KNIFE - UNIT MARKED.
This has just arrived from Scotland and is a very interesting dagger. The downside is that the blade is not the best, and at some time in its life, has been shortened/re-tipped. However, the condition of the rest of it helps to make up for that, and it has been priced accordingly.
All solid nickel pommel and crossguard. Perfect inset swastikas in the crossguard. All parts are uncleaned. ... read more
RED CROSS ‘SAW-BACK’ DAGGER WITH ORIGINAL FROG.
One of the several daggers purchased from a private collection last week. All have not been offered to the collecting community for over 30 years. This is an extremely good example of a parade dagger carried by the German Red Cross.
I’ve always wondered why an organisation such as the Red Cross carried daggers at all, but during the 1930’s every organisation received the para-military t... read more
