A very nice example of an Alcoso army dagger. Has 100% of the antique silver plating on all the fittings. A beautiful tangerine orange grip which has its original silver bullion knot tied in place. NAVY DAGGER WITH PORTAPEE BY ALCOSO with SAILING SHIP BLADE. .
Alcoso navy daggers are quite rare. They were a prominent manufacturer but their navy daggers do not turn up very often. They have some distinctive features. The reverse crossguard features a ‘star’ motif cast in the brass, not an anchor like other makers. They also use much smaller diameter throat screws, which can also be seen on all the other daggers they make (army, Government etc) This dag... read more

**SPECIAL OFFER** ARMY DAGGER BY HORSTER WITH STRAPS AND KNOT!
If I manage to pick up a bargain, I do like to try and pass it on. This is an expensive hobby and if I can help a collector with a starter piece or similar, I’m happy to do so. This is a very decent example of an army officers dagger with white grip by EF Horster. It has its original 42cm bullion portapee, a little frayed but real. It also has a very decent set of hangers with green velvet back... read more

A MINT CONDITIONED POLICE OFFICERS DEGEN WITH ENGRAVED SS POMMELL, KNOT & HANGER.
These are not often found and consisted quite rare. The Police during the Third Reich era, were under the direct command of Himmler and the SS, so there was a lot of cooperation between them. Some Police Officers were obviously much more affiliated with the SS and probably had SS membership. This parade degen was probably owned by a senior police officer directly associated or working with the ... read more

The company of FA HELBIG were the only manufacturer of these daggers. HELBIG also made early NSFK and DLV daggers, as well as Luftwaffe swords and very rarely SS ‘33 daggers!! Their oval trademark was ALWAYS very lightly etched onto the blades. In some cases, so lightly it’s nearly impossible to see!
These little NSFK daggers are quite unique as everything apart from the blade) is made o... read more
1936 SS OFFICERS CHAINED DAGGER.
Perhaps the most requested dagger overall. Continue to get rarer and rarer as they are swallowed up into collections. This is a lovely example I sold over 10 years ago and was very pleased to be able to buy it back. Dagger itself is an earlier pre-RZM era, so has solid nickel crossguards, grip eagle etc. Black ebony wood grip is nearly perfect, but has 2 tiny slivers missing in the rear adjacen... read more
