ONE OF THE RAREST SETS OF DAGGER HANGERS - TENO LEADERS IN CLOTH !

As with most dagger and sword accessories, these are the bits people lose or are left behind when taken as souvenirs. This is a set of the very rare and difficult to find, TENO Officers hangers in cloth. The TENO officers actually had TWO sets of hangers for their dagger. This bullion and cloth set and a black leather set both using the same hardware. This set have hangers have seen proper use and show a little wear. The straps where connected to the top clip, are slightly frayed but totally intact and still strong. This was quite a large and heavy dagger, so whoever had these straps used them a lot!! Straps themselves are quite short, but the wearers adjusted them according to height I imagine. The cloth is a light blue/grey with silver bullion lines. The buckles are in the form of stylised ‘cogwheels’, which is the symbol of the TENO organisation. Both buckles are ‘A’ Assmann marked on the reverse. The rest of the fittings are standard aluminium type clips etc as sometimes used on Luftwaffe and army daggers. The reverse is soft black velvet in good condition. A unique opportunity to complete your TENO dagger as I am certain there are quite a few collectors out there missing these rare accessories.
