A nice example of a period piece with quite a lot of the original fire gilding remaining. Especially on the pommel and crossguard. The scabbard has quite a lot showing around the scabbard bands, around the throat area and in the lower part of the scabbard in the background of the engraved scabbard design. A perfect white/cream celluloid grip with twisted brass wire. Blade is in near mint condition with bright plated surface and very deep and crisp etched panels on both sides the reverse riccasso has the stamped Eickhorn squirrel that is most commonly seen and was used from 1935-1941.
