A MOST INTERESTING ‘UNTOUCHED’ NSKK TRANSITIONAL DAGGER.
This hobby always throws up something different and whist on this dagger the differences are subtle, they are what they are. Never been in a collection and purchased directly from a house clearance, it has not been touched since. This is what we call a ‘transitional’ piece where one type of production period was ending and a different one began. This dagger exhibits both some early features and... read more

AN EXCELLENT ‘RURAL’ POLICE BAYONET, WITH FROG AND LARGE PORTAPEE.
This is a really super example of a RURAL police parade bayonet. It has great tan brown scabbard leather and frog. These rural police bayonets are much more uncommon that the black leather TOWN/CITY bayonets. The country/rural Feldgendarmerie had brown backed uniform insignia and all the equipment, belt leather etc was brown too. Bayonet is a prime example of the standard cut-down Weimar police... read more

EARLY EICKHORN SA DAGGER WITH FULLY ERASED ROHM BLADE (AND MOST OF THE TRADEMARK!)
The history of these pieces is well known by collectors and this is an example of a very well done, but not factory erased Rohm blade. All early nicks fittings of course, as this was made in 1933/34 and given to all of Ernst Rohm's supporters. Nice dark wood grip with nickel eagle and perfect SA button. All fittings remain completely uncleaned and the nickel, mainly on the grip crossguards has ... read more

OLD COTTON DRAW STRING DAGGER BAGS.
I found these in an antique shop years ago and forgot I had them! All cream cotton draw string bags, that show some age. They would accommodate most daggers up to a 1st Luftwaffe. So army, navy, 2nd Luft etc etc. Not zip up padded bags, but ideal for storage or transporting to keep daggers safe. I have 8. read more
EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF AN EICKHORN ARMY DAGGER WITH KNOT AND HANGERS.
I always am pleased to purchase a complete dagger, and one thst looks to have been together for ever. This was a private purchase at the last Thetford fair. This Eickhorn army dagger has been untouched and uncleaned for MANY years. It has a high silver content silver plated scabbsrd with no damage, that has developed a very nice ‘silver patina’. Quite a deep orange celluloid grip and one of the... read more

HITLER YOUTH KNIFE, PLAIN BLADE BY RZM M7/72.
Another decent example of a HITLER YOUTH knife produced after 1938 so has a plain blade with no motto. However, it’s by another maker I have never heard of Kaldenbach Karl Robert (KKR), Solingen-Grafrath | RZM M7/72. The RZM code etch is deeply stamped into the reverse riccasso and partly obscured by the blade washer. Good nickel plated hilt with a little bit of surface corrosion to the surface... read more

HITLER YOUTH DAGGER WITH MOTTO M7/45/38.
Whist HJ daggers ceased to have the Blut und Ehre motto on the blade during 1938. It was only from 1939 onwards that there are only plain blades. During the early part of 1938 mottos still appeared on blades. This is one with RZM M7/45/38 markings deeply stamped into the reverse riccasso. This RZM code is for Karl Boker a maker I’ve not come across before. Has all steel hilt etc, not the grey ... read more

A POSTSCHUTZ OFFICERS DAGGER BY WEYERSBERG

They were ultimately under the control of the SS. The officers da... read more
