A nice example of the Red Cross dagger carried by Third Reich uniformed medics. Has all the original full nickel plating throughout. Very good ORIGINSL scabbard paint. ANYONE WITH A SPARE SCABBARD? A 1st Pattn LUFTWAFFE IN ALUMINIUM.
Picked up at the SoS show last month. This is a very decent 1st Luftwaffe dagger with no corresponding scabbard. Aluminium crossguard and pommel with mint gilded swastikas. Blue leather grip is a little scuffed but wire wrap etc is all present. Blade is bright and clean but has no maker.
Either find a scabbard or perhaps use this one for parts. Complete it would be a £700-800 dagger.

THIRD REICH FIRE DEPT BAYONET KNOT.
Whilst this is a fairly common sidearm, the coloured portapee/knot that goes with it is quite rare.
