A BEAUTIFUL 9” MINIATURE 2nd LUFTWAFFE DAGGER BY ALCOSO.

A BEAUTIFUL 9” MINIATURE 2nd LUFTWAFFE DAGGER BY ALCOSO.

As quite a few of you know I have specialised in miniature daggers for many years, so I know which are the best! ALCOSO are the best! Their detail and quality are second to none, plus they make the largest types of miniatures.
This is a typical example of a miniature given away as an advertising ‘favour’ as it has a company name etched into the blade on the obverse as well as the Alcoso...  read more

These were used as salesmen’s samples, but m...  read more

RARE '33 SS DAGGER BY BOKER WITH TRIPLE HANGER.

RARE '33 SS DAGGER BY BOKER WITH TRIPLE HANGER.

It is really good to get an early example of an SS dagger by this maker. BOKER is highly sort after, especially in America. The dagger remains in a great uncleaned state, with traces of green verdigris on the nickel fittings where the leather has been in contact with it over a period of time. In fact the short black hanger was fitted around the top scabbard fitting, hence the green lines on it....  read more

A VERY DECENT EXAMPLE OF AN EARLY DLV FLYERS DAGGER.

A VERY DECENT EXAMPLE OF AN EARLY DLV FLYERS DAGGER.

This little flyers knives are one of my favourites. The Teutonic/Art Deco design of the downswept crossguard, continued with the design on the 1st Luft dagger and the Luftwaffe sword.
This is a proper DLV marked dagger, so would have been issued and worn by officers in the DeutchvLuft Verband. The ‘volunteer’ German airforce started illegally by Hitler in the early 1930’s, in contraven...  read more

AN EARLY EXAMPLE OF RLB MANS OR’S DRESS DAGGER BY HORSTER.

AN EARLY EXAMPLE OF RLB MANS OR’S DRESS DAGGER BY HORSTER.

One of the few daggers with a huge Art Deco design influence. This is an early 2nd Pattn RLB dagger with all solid nickel fittings (crossguard and pommel). A perfect black ebony wood grip with nickel RLB grip badge as used by Horster. Badge is in perfect condition with no chips to the black enamel swastika. Nickel crossguard features the very Art Deco influenced eagle and swastika. The black pa...  read more

AN EARLY ORIGINAL VERTICAL HANGER FOR A SS ‘33 DAGGER.

AN EARLY ORIGINAL VERTICAL HANGER FOR A SS ‘33 DAGGER.

Whilst not mint, this is in very good condition considering it’s come from a dagger probably made in 1933-35, so it’s perhaps 90 years old!!! This has been properly used and you can see where it has taken on the form of the dagger it was once on.
The black leather shows honest wear throughout and would look perfect married to an early SS dagger of the same age. Nickel snap clip is DRGM ...  read more

A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A COMPLETE RED CROSS OFFICERS DRESS DAGGER WITH ORIGINAL STRAPS AND 42cm PORTAPEE.

A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A COMPLETE RED CROSS OFFICERS DRESS DAGGER WITH ORIGINAL STRAPS AND 42cm PORTAPEE.

One of the more unusual daggers of the Third Reich era. Red Cross? Not a military organisation at all yet they had specific uniforms and daggers for both enlisted men and officers! Unlike nearly all the other daggers and swords, Red Cross daggers never have any makers marks on the blades, yet they appear in various manufacturers catalogues (Eickhorn, Robert Klaas). This officers example is in n...  read more

A BEAUTIFUL NAVY DAGGER WITH MATCHING STRAPS & KNOT IN MINT CONDITION THROUGHOUT.

Very difficult to find these daggers for sale any more in this condition. Has never been in a collection and was purchased from a family near Margate. The dagger is made by Eickhorn and has the more unusual later squirrel trademark used by them after 1942. The squirrel looks back over its shoulder.
All brass construction BUT it has its complete original finish of fire gilding over the b...  read more

A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF ALL ALUMINIUM LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS SWORD WHICH IS NUMBERED.

A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF ALL ALUMINIUM LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS SWORD WHICH IS NUMBERED.

These aluminium swords always look great as in most cases they have survived, looking almost like new! This one is the same and has 100% of the anodised gilded swastikas on the large pommel and also the crossguard. Luftwaffe blue leather grip is near perfect with twin twisted ‘springy’ aluminium wire wrap. The scabbard leather is beautiful and has no wear or damage to it whatsoever! The origina...  read more
