RAD OFFICERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN.

RAD OFFICERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN.

Introduced in 1938 to replace the heavy hewer, the officers dagger is a much more delicate and desirable item. This one has lost the original cream celluloid grips and a pair of replacements have been professionally made in hardwood and custom painted. They look very good! Scabbard has two surface dents, one each side at the very bottom. It’s also lost the original silver plating, which is stil...  read more

Quite an elegant dagger which has the German Red Cross symbol cast into the crossguard central lozenge. Deep orange celluloid grip. No chips but has a couple of very old ‘stress cracks’ on the surface. No material missing. Luckily these are both on the rear of the grip, so do not show from the front at all. Very bright and clean nickel plated scabbard with no damage or dents. There is a small d...  read more
