ARMY DAGGER WITH DEEP ORANGE GRIP!

An interesting dagger which has remained in an uncleaned state throughout. It’s outstanding feature is the deep orange grip.The reverse of the grip is a little lighter in colour, so it looks like this has been hanging on a wall for a long time. Crossguard has taken on a golden tone, looks like brass, but I think it’s just nicotine patina. The silver plated scabbard has also toned very dark due to the silver content in the plating. The oakleaf scabbard bands are solid brass. The blade is un-marked, so no real clue who made this. Blade is in very good condition anyway. Light surface patina, but evidence of crossgrain polish. Add a nice set of straps, plus a bullion knot, and this would look a great piece.
