A SUPERB SHORT DRESS BAYONET BY E.P & S WITH STAG GRIPS.

This lovely dress bayonet is in virtually MINT condition throughout. This dress bayonets were privately purchased at the time and this one has the extra cost stag grips! Nickel plated hilt is in marvellous condition with just some tiny spots of age. The mortice rifle slot has the original red felt plug. The stag grips have the tell-tale off-set spanner’s used by EP&S on most of their bayonets. You can tell them at a glance. Perfect original black painted scabbard. Original black leather frog. Blade is a nickel plated straight type with fuller running along the top edge. It’s in 99% mint condition. The Ernst Pack trade mark and name are deeply stamped into the reverse riccasso. Original leather blade buffer is in place. A very nice looking dress bayonet by a great maker.
