A TRIPLE ETCHED GERMAN DOVE HEAD SWORD BY WEYERSBERG.

A good looking period sword. Has near perfect nickel plated ‘dove head’ hilt. Black grip with triple silver wire wrap (some has become unravelled). Newley re-painted black scabbard (looks very nice). Blade is fantastic. In near mint condition. Heavily factory etched on both sides with military items etc. One side features a large outstretched Imperial type eagle with ‘mit Gott fur Kaiser und Reich’. Beautifully etched. Spine has makers name of Weyersberg & Co Solingen etched along the edge.
