HITLER YOUTH KNIFE BY RARE MAKER ‘KUNO RITTER’ M7/3.

I can’t remember having a HJ knife by this maker. Whilst it has an RZM marked blade, the dagger itself is of early, all steel construction, not the later cast grey alloy. The dagger has been properly used, so I can’t describe it as mint or near mint!! The nickel plating has worn from the hilt revealing the steel underneath. The chequered grips are perfect and the enamel HJ insignia wiggles (quite a bit). The scabbard has nearly all of the original factory black paint and the brown leather belt loop and cross strap with popper are in great shape.
The blade is bright and clean. Has been used and sharpened carefully along the cutting edge.
The reverse of the blade has a deeply stamped RZM circle and M7/3 right in the middle.
A very decent dagger overall and if you are collecting by makers, perhaps one you don’t have.
