WW1/IMPERIAL GERMAN 1898/05 SAWBACK BAYONET WITH FROG AND KNOT.

It seems to be a fine and complete bayonet, including a very nice leather frog and correct period portapee. Bayonet has all blued hilt with nice wood grips.Pommdl has 2 Imperial Waffanampt stamps. No issues or damage. The scabbard is also in excellent shape and has all the original colour. A fine period frog with an extra leather loop at the top. A period wool troddel or portapee is tied around the frog.The portapee has the original owners name on a label sewn inside. ‘Bidiker’. Very neat! The saw-back blade is also blued and not bright, and is in excellent condition. Top saw tooth edge is still dangerously sharp. Blade riccasso has makers name in an arch Deutche Machinenfabric A-G.
