A SUPERB SHORT LUFTWAFFE ETCHED DRESS BAYONET BY KLAAS.

I’ve not had one this nice in a while and it comes from the collection of an advanced bayonet collector. This short dress bayonet is in mint condition throughout and really would be hard to upgrade. The nickel plated hilt is perfect with no signs of age at all! Perfect chequered grips and the rifle mortice slot has the original red felt plug. Scabbard has 100% original paint. There is a wonderful BROWN patent leather frog with the original Luftwaffe leather portapee tied around it. The leather straps on the portapee are blue/grey indicating Luftwaffe. Wehrmacht/army ones are green. The blade is absolutely stunning and features the wonderful, and sort after,long outstretched wing eagle that Klaas used on their etched dress bayonets. The ‘memory of my service time’ wording is deeply etched around it. It’s in stone mint condition. Reverse has the Robert Klaas trademark in a circle.
