EARLY HJ DAGGER WITH MOTTO AND RARE MAKER.

A nice USED example of an early HJ boys dagger from the early 1930’s. Steel hilt construction with good nickel plating. Nice chequered grips with early tight pattern chequering. Perfect enamel HJ diamond. Original scabbard paint is in excellent shape with normal and natural wear to the bottom. Black leather belt loop with cross strap and working popper! Blade is v early so has NO stepped riccasso. The Blut und Ehre motto is deep and clear. Blade has been used and sharpened, as most were!! Has altered the profile a little. Reverse has the rare maker of Wilhelm Welterbach Solongen with their trademark of a water pump with 2 outlets dripping water!! Not a stone mint piece but a very good addition to a collection, especially if you are after early makers.
