In mint condition this REICHSKRIEGFLAG measures 1.0 x 1.7m. Bright red linen/cotton fabric with NO damage or holes. The white reinforced hoist pocket is marked with the size, maker and an ink stamped eagle and swastika with the ‘M’ underneath denoting this was a navy flag. The makers mark is in a small rectangular box, and commonly for these is ‘KRESS St Tonis’’. Kress St. Tönis" is a maker mark found on World War II German military flags, specifically the Reichsdienstflagge (Reich Service Flag) used by the Kriegsmarine.
