LUFTWAFFE 2nd Pattn BY SMF WITH ORANGE GRIP, STRAPS AND KNOT.

A very pretty looking dagger as it retains a lot of the original finish. Pommel has a little of the gilding to the swastikas. A tangerine orange grip with aluminium wire. One tiny chip to the grip, just under the pommel at the rear. Nice crossguard with antiqued finish to the eagle. There is its original 23cm bullion knot tied in place with no wear or damage. A really nice scabbard. Typical SMF with virtually all of the airplane grey finish to the surfaces. The blade is a normal nickel plated type used by SMF. It’s in STONE MINT condition and looks fantastic. The SMF ‘seated king’ trademark is on the reverse riccasso, as well as the little Waffanampt stick eagle underneath. There are a very nice set of Luft de-luxe hangers with all clips etc.
A very nice complete dagger.
