A WONDERFUL RAD OFFICERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN WITH INTACT BLUED SCABBARD PANEL AND RARE BROWN LEATHER HANGERS WITH ILLUSIVE TOP BELT CLIP!!!

Just a really lovely dagger and complete with the correct accessories. The condition is really superb and by perhaps the best maker - Eickhorn. The dagger itself is in mint condition. I can’t see any lifting or cracking to the silver plated hilt. The cream coloured celluloid grips are again perfect with no cracks or scratches. The scabbard again is perfect with full silver plating. It also has, which is very rarely seen, the ‘blackening’ to the centre pebbled panel. This antiqued effect gives the scabbard definition and in SO many cases this was cleaned off as people thought it was dirt or patina!! The blade is also in mint, untouched condition with a lovely surface finish. Deep grey colour to the ‘Arbeit adelt’ lettering. Reverse riccasso has the etched EICKHORN squirrel trademark for 1935-42.
The dagger has a set of really beautiful tan leather RAD officer hangers. One of the best set of hangers I’ve seen! Rich brown leather colour with no damage or cracking-mint! The reverse of the hanger straps are finished in a blue/grey wool with NO moth damage. Perfect buckles and lower clips. Attached to the wide top clip is the extremely rare wide snap clip and leather belt loop. These are ALWAYS missing and happily fetch £200 on their own as collectors want to complete their hangers.
This is a fantastic combination and would be very hard to upgrade.
