A NEAR MINT EXAMPLE OF HITLER YOUTH DAGGER BY EICKHORN 1941.

What a nice dagger this is!! Has a double marked Eickhorn blade with squirrel and RZM mark. Nickel plated hilt has 98% full coverage. Just a tiny bit missing from top edge. Beautiful chequered grips with perfect HJ diamond which has toned black with silver content patina. Near perfect scabbard with 98% original paint. Leather belt loop and cross strap are supple and perfect. Blade is in stone mint condition with all crossgrain polish remaining. Reverse has the large etched Eickhorn squirrel and Eickhorns RZM number underneath. M7/66. It also has Eickhorns date stamp on the riccasso ‘41’ for 1941. Blade has original leather washer. As sometimes happens with these and dress bayonets, the blade is VERY slightly loose in the hilt. Always due to the internal rivets moving a little or the blade washer shrinking and removing the tolerances in construction. Not an issue in my opinion. A VERY nice HJ dagger.
