THIRD REICH POLICE NCO’s DEGEN BY PETR DAN KREBS.

Another choice item from the Police and SS sword collection. As I mentioned in the description of the last Police sword listed by Krebs, they interchanged items!! So the police swords they made were very similar to the SS ones. This is a lovely NCO’s police degen and in true Krebs fashion, it’s slightly different than other manufacturers. Very nice and neat mint nickel plated steel fittings. The D guard and Barthes both marked with the stamped SS runes known as Kulturzeichen. The fine plain ebony wood grip has the police badge bones into the middle, but Krebs used the same sized badge for the NCO’s sword grip as they did for the officers grip! All other manufacturers used a flatter, smaller eagle badge. Very nice scabbard with original black paint. Lower end has the integral drag, not a separate fitting like the officers. Blade is in near mint condition and has the Petr Dan Krebs shield trademark with a lobster. A rare and desirable NCO’s Degen and of you haven’t Officers version or either of the SS degens made bunkers, this will complete the set.
