AN EXTREMELY NICE EXAMPLE OF A SHORT K98 PARADE BAYONET WITH STAG GRIPS - KNOT & FROG.

A high quality bayonet made by Ernst Pack & Sonne. The stag grips feature the typical EP&S off-set nickel bolts with flush retaining nuts. The nickel plated hilt is in perfect condition and there is a green felt plug in the mortise slot. It has its original brown narrow leather frog with a NCO green/silver parade knot. The scabbard has original paint with a little loss to the front. No other damage. The carbine nickel plated blade is in MINT condition with the EP&S trademark on the reverse riccasso. A very nice bayonet indeed. Probably a Jäger regiment.
