A BEAUTIFUL RED CROSS OFFICERS DAGGER WITH KNOT.

This is a prime, mint piece. Complete with its original 42cm knot, wonderfully tied and also in mint condition. The bright nickel plating throughout the dagger is perfect with no lifting whatsoever. The recessed spanner nut on top of the pommel is nearly perfect and in-buggered! The superb deep orange grip has darkened on one side, the opposite side is mid yellow! Amazing what light exposure does to period celluloid. The knot has also been in place for ever, as a peek under the tie reveals the light yellow grip colour. Scabbard is 100% perfect, no damage, no dents. Has rectangular scabbard band suspension holes. Blade is STONE mint with all the crossgrain polish. Hard to upgrade.
