A NEAR MINT EXAMPLE OF A 2nd Pattn LUFTWAFFE DAGGER BY GUSTAF SPITZER.

Never been in a collection before and came from a veterans son in the Midlands. Uncleaned and untouched in every way. Dagger still has all of the airplane grey finish throughout the metal exterior parts. Scabbard is undulated and has 98% of the finish too. A perfect white celluloid grip with single twisted wire. The pommel has visible traces of the once fully gilded swastikas. It’s not worn off, just absorbed into the metal base over time. An absolutely stunning blade, which is in stone mint condition. ALL crossgrain polish and a deeply etched GUSTSF SPITZER round trademark featuring a lion.
