THIRD REICH WW2 CLOSE COMBAT KNIFE (Nahkampfmesser)

A great example of a Third Reich close combat knife in excellent condition. A very popular area with collectors currently. This one is also personalised AND has a maker mark on the blade FW HOLLER.
They are so often not marked at all. Nice wood grips with no cracks or damage. Reverse grip has a small brass SA sports badge inset into the grips and pinned in place!! Scabbard is tubular steel with most of original blued finish evident Reverse has the long spring with which it can be clipped to equipment or slid down a boot top. Blade is in eccentric shape. No damage, but it has been used and cleaned. The HOLLER oval trademark is just below the reverse riccasso. It’s a little worn but still very readable. Nice example
