A NEAR PERFECT RAD OFFICERS DAGGER WITH VERY RARE MAKER AND WITH COMPLETE MINT HANGERS INCLUDING THE TOP CLIP!!.

Not a combination you come across every day! This lovely RAD officers dagger is by F.A. Helbig!! A maker I have never seen on a RAD officers dagger. Usually you find DLV/NSFK daggers by them and the odd Luftwaffe sword or dagger, but never a RAD. The dagger itself is in near mint condition with NO lifting to the fragile plating to the hilt and crossguard. The cream celluloid grips are perfect with NO cracks or damage! The scabbard again is perfect with NO dents or damage and 100% silver plating to the surface. Blade is extremely nice. With full polish and grey background to the lettering. The HELBIG oval trademark is etched to the reverse riccasso. In addition this dagger has a complete set of brown leather hangers INCLUDING the mega-rare top snap clip and leather belt loop! This part is usually never present and extremely difficult to obtain on its own. The tan brown leather straps are perfect, no damage, no cracking to the leather which is beautifully supple. Straps have a grey/blue cloth backing which is not worn and 100% present. There are a couple of very small moth ‘nips’ in the fabric. A really good looking complete ensemble.
